Industrial Tarmac - Loading Bay and Parking AreaThe surface of this industrial area was badly deteriorated
and, due to an inadequate drainage system, was prone to
flooding. The only practical solution was the complete
removal of the old surface and the fitting of additional
heavy duty 'Hepworth' type drainage hoppers.
A highways specification Tarmacadam was used to withstand
the use of fork lift trucks and heavy vehicle usage and
provide a durable surface which we can confidently say will
give a great many trouble free years. |

Surface Dressing - Resin Bonded with Golden Gravel finish
In 2009, ESC were awarded the contract to create a suitable
base in order to display this spectacular modern sculpture.
The base had to be practical, durable and be in keeping with
the style of the sculpture and the environment.
Resin bonded surface dressing over a concrete base edged
with pavior blocks were considered the perfect combination
for both longevity and attractive appearance. |

Road Planing Preparation and Tarmac Re-Surfacing of
Private Road
Several major areas on this private road had deteriorated
and required replacement. The Tarmac wearing course was
removed using a road planing machine to provide a sound,
keyed base. This was then thoroughly swept clean and primed
with liquid bitumen before the new surface laid. |

Construction of 'Over-Flow' Parking Area
This project involved the transformation of over-grown waste
land to the side of this Reading based warehouse unit into
an additional parking facility for their staff. Strong
engineering bricks were used to enclose the area before the
groundworks could commence. A resin bonded walkway was
created from the doorway to improve pedestrian safety. |
